Job Description

As our consultant, you’ll get to work on one specific project with your teammates, led by our project managers. Tasks vary by projects as well as workstreams. Check out the most relevant details of our current recruitment period in the list below.

Basic Requirements

  • Be a CEMS student or alumnus/alumna

  • Availability and commitment for the full duration of the project (8-10 weeks; October 2024 - December 2024), 5+ hours per week

  • Ability to work in a virtual team and access the internet throughout the 8-10 weeks

  • Professional attitude and an interest in social enterprises/nonprofits

  • Strong interest in digital products and

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Drive to learn more

  • Enthusiasm and commitment to your chosen project

Company Introduction

Joule assists landlords in implementing the “Gebäudestrom” framework from Solar Package 1, simplifying and making PV systems more profitable. Their approach includes:

  • Project Support: They manage everything from customer contact to system commissioning.

  • JouleHub Software: Joule enables landlords to sell PV electricity to tenants, automating billing and reducing costs.

Project Focus

We have three distinct projects this season for Joule, please carefully review them and find the one you're most interested in.

Develop a strategy for sourcing and reaching out to private landlords of apartment buildings in Germany. Focus on omni-channel sales, customer identification, and lead generation.

Optimize current pricing models for Joule's services and software, and explore new product ideas. Aim to increase revenue and enhance the SaaS offering (JouleHub).

Define a competitive strategy for Joule as an early-stage start-up in the energy sector. Build a sustainable advantage for winning the current market and preparing for future growth.
